Anger is a terrible sin. An angry, bitter person allows their emotions to control them, rather than thought. Anger is never an isolated sin. It brings a flood of other sins. “Wrath is fierce and anger is a flood [torrent]” (Prov 27:4). When you let your temper take control you grieve the Holy Spirit and drive away the people who love you the most. The Word of God gives you a different way to live. It’s called the mind of Christ, living and thinking with a divine viewpoint. “Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.” (Eph 4:32).
