Christian activism is religious arrogance that substitutes spiritual growth and impact with the goal of cleaning up society’s depravity. You are not here to fight the perversions of society, straighten out the sinner, or clean up the devil’s world. “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him” (John 3:17). What influences the course of history is the impact of the mature believer, not social reform. Our mission is to bring the Light into darkness. “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in darkness but will have the Light of life” (John 8:12).
