You have the double blessing of being a member of God’s royal family and His client nation, America. A client nation has responsibilities to uphold: evangelize our own, send missionaries throughout the world, preserve and teach the Word of God, provide a safe haven for the Jews, and follow divine establishment principles. But we’ve turned our backs on the Lord and that’s why dark days are ahead. We have become preoccupied with the gifts and forgotten the Giver. “If you don’t obey Me and you do not observe My mandates… I will appoint terror over you” (Lev 26:14-17). Many believers in this client nation have let their light go dim. “You are the light of the world” (Matt 5:14). We are mandated to “Let your light shine” (Matt 5:16). When we reflect the light of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ we illuminate the darkness. To ensure your light is on stay filled with the Holy Spirit and take in the Word of God on a consistent basis under a well-qualified pastor. There are dark days coming and only your light of reflecting Christ can change it.
