You can’t grow to spiritual maturity without getting under the ministry of a well-qualified pastor. This is how you learn how to live a Christian life. You can’t teach yourself. Expect testing and distractions as you start to grow spiritually. Stay on course. God’s Word will instruct you on how to deal with people and circumstances and how to keep your sinful nature in check. “I don’t understand myself at all because the things I want to do I don’t do and the things I don’t like are the things that I do. It’s obvious that it’s sin in me” (Rom 7:15-17). You’ll have no idea what’s real and what’s not real until you get a framework of Biblical knowledge in your soul. When you grow spiritually and glorify God then you are the one that will deliver this nation because as goes your spiritual life, so goes the history of America.
