The Lord has not abandoned us. He promised He is coming back for us. No one knows when the Exit Resurrection, also known as the Rapture, will occur. “I will come back and receive you to Myself so that where I am, you may be also” (John 14:1-3). Dispensations are how you know there is a Church Age, an Exit Resurrection, followed by the Tribulation, the Second Advent, then the Millennial Reign of Christ, and then the new heavens and the new earth—the eternal state. You live your life in the light of what’s going to happen, not what’s going on in this world right now. Don’t get discouraged or defeated. Stand on the promises of God. Look forward. You have a personal sense of destiny. “The world passes away and the lust thereof, but he that does the will of God will abide forever” (1 John 2:17).
