No Christian is charged by God to change the politics of any country. It’s not your job to be an activist. Your job is to represent Jesus Christ. You are mandated to pray for our national leaders whether you agree with them or not. “I exhort therefore that first of all supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings, and for all that are in authority” (1 Tim 2:1-6). Our leaders may be wicked and evil, but you are mandated by the Word of God to love them using the problem-solving device of impersonal love. “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established” (Rom 13:1-5). God allowed it to happen. Remember Jesus Christ controls history.
