Satan would love to put doubt, anger or resentment in your mind related to some tragedy you’ve endured. “The devil goes about as a roaring lion seeking whom he can devour” (1 Pet 5:8). You might not understand why things happen but you need to understand God has made provisions for you to have confidence and courage in the face of adversity. God knows what is happening to you. Put your trust in Him. “No circumstances have come upon you that is not common to man and with those circumstances, God always provides a way out” (1 Cor 10:13). Glorify God in your adversity knowing it teaches patience, breeds integrity, and gives you confidence in the Lord. “Stand still and watch what God is about to do” (Ex 14:13). Stand still and trust in God’s promises and provisions.
