Reversionism is living in carnality, out of fellowship with the Holy Spirit, because of the refusal to confess known sin. It’s slipping backward in the Christian way of life. “Some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits” (1 Tim 4:1) and (Eph 4:7). If you aren’t advancing spiritually through the daily study of the Word of God, then you are at a standstill or regressing. ‘The rate of forgetting exceeds the rate of learning.’ You must be able to pick yourself up through the use of 1 John 1:9 and move forward. God still has a plan for you. Get over your failure and adversity and move on. You’ll become resilient through knowing and applying God’s Word.
