A man you never met gave His life for you. Over 2000 years ago God the Father had you in mind. He knew you would exist and need redemption. He gave His anointed Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, as your Redeemer. “Even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father and I lay down My life for the sheep” (John 10:15). Christ gave His life for you and for me. When you believe in Jesus Christ you are guaranteed eternal life. Death has no hold on you. So Jesus Christ is the best friend you’ve never met. “He made Him who knew no sin to be made sin for us so that we might become the righteousness of God by means of Him” (2 Col 5:21). When you receive Him as your Savior, He indwells in you. He’s in you and He will never leave. What an amazing promise!
