The Christian poet is a doer of God’s Word and becomes a living epistle to the world—an expresser of God’s grace and forgiveness through thoughts and actions. “You are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men” (2 Cor 3:2-3). When you reflect God’s policy of grace it will attract interest from those who observe your demeanor. “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” (Matt 5:16). Knowledge of correct Biblical information and proper application is required of a living epistle. ”But prove yourselves doers of the Word and not merely hearers who delude themselves” (James 1:22). The beauty of your spiritual life as a doer of God’s Word, a Christian poet, glorifies God.
