“For each one will bear his own load” (Gal 3:5). A Christian socialist wants to invoke God’s blessing from the growth of other believers and isn’t willing to put the work in themselves. When they go through testing they want prayers and want God to deliver them, they want blessings, but they don’t have the discipline to invoke these blessings themselves. They don’t want to study and grow to spiritual maturity to become a member of the pivot that God can funnel blessings. Personal love for God is the greatest virtue you can have. “If you love me you will obey Me” (John 5:3). Those content to stay as immature believers are essentially living off the good life of those who merit God’s favor. “Without faith, it is impossible to please God” (Heb 11:6). When you refuse to take time for God’s counsel through His Word, if you ignore His requirements, you will be a spiritual failure.
