Description

Complaining is a sin. Folks like to complain, gripe, malign, whine - they are all emotional sins. Complainers grumble about the raw deals they get in life, and react and not respond to circumstances, resulting in self-induced misery. “For it is God who works in you both to desire and to work for His good pleasure. Do all things without complaining or arguments” (Phil 2:14). Apply the Word of God to the situation starting with grace orientation. Learn to grace people out, not complain about them. Without humility, you can’t serve the Lord. Humility is orienting to the authority of the Word of God. It is you objectively evaluating your own life in the light of what the Bible says. “This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and have a superabundance of happiness in it” (Ps 118:24). “Because of His unfailing love and mercy every day” (Lam 3:22-23).
