Think about what you’re missing by not seeing with the eyes of your soul, by not having faith. Faith is the muscle of the spiritual life. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen” (Heb 11:1). Without faith you can’t please God. “Without faith, it is impossible to please God, for he that comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him” (Heb 11:6). With the eyes of your soul, you can have the confidence and assurance in the Biblical descriptions of what awaits you in the future. For your soul to see God’s promises you must have them in the mentality of your soul and then you can stand on faith and believe them.
