The Holy Spirit can sustain you, teach you and encourage you."But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things, and bring them to your remembrance whatever I said to you. (John 14:26) But if you quench the Holy Spirit, or grieve the Holy Spirit, then He's not able to do His job. “The flesh wars against the Spirit, the Spirit wars against the flesh.” (Galatians 5:17)
