The power of Christ is accessed through faith by means of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. “God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Tim 1:7). Jesus Christ's spiritual life during His earthly ministry is our template for how to live the Christian life. The template is found in the Word of God. It is the mind of Christ. The Lord wants you to yoke up with Him, “Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me” (Matt 11:28-30). This yoke will give you rest and peace of mind. The power of Christ results in: compassion and graciousness, lack of fear, confidence, and protection. “So that the name of the Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you and you in Him according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ” (2 Thes 1:12).
