Despite the injustice you may face, you can’t afford to be sidetracked by circumstances or by the people who drive these circumstances. You must finish the race. You must complete the course God set for you. “I have competed well, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” (2 Tim 4:7). Arrogance will bring you low. Arrogance justifies why it’s OK to sin. “God makes war against the arrogant but gives grace to the humble” (James 4:6). To fail to fulfill God’s plan is a sin. “Take care that this liberty of yours does not become a stumbling block to the weak” (1 Cor 8:9). You never want to be a stumbling block to another believer. They don’t need to be distracted by you when they need to be looking at God.
