You cannot give to God what you do not have. You cannot worship God unless you come through the Lord Jesus Christ and are filled with the Holy Spirit. “For there is one God and one mediator also between God and men, Christ Jesus” (1 Tim 2:5). “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth (John 4:24). True worship comes from what you have learned about Him as taught accurately from the truth of His Word, the Bible. Worship is based on thought, not emotion. This is a warning about not understanding God and His mandates. “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6).
