Your volition controls you. The decisions you make determine the life you lead. You decide. You choose. Your thoughts become your decisions and then your actions. If you use your volition in an arrogant way, with an unrealistic self-image and unrealistic expectations, you will destroy yourself. “He who obeys instructions guards his own soul, but he who is contemptuous of his own ways will die” (Prov 19:16). But if you have humility and use your volition to learn God’s Word to get the Fantastic Four: wisdom, knowledge, insight, and understanding. “He who pursues virtue love finds capacity for life, prosperity, and honor” (Prov 21:21).
