“Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5). Learning to think as He thought requires that we learn the Scriptures. That’s why Proverbs 2:10-11 says, “When wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge becomes pleasant to your soul; then discretion and understanding will guard and protect you.” When you must make a decision, don’t make it based on emotions—make decisions based on what you think. The mind responds and the emotions just react.
