Sherrika Sanders is a wife, mother, and accountant by trade for over 15 years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from DeVry University, an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management, and a Master's in Human Resource Management with a concentration in Leadership & Organizational Behavior, also from Keller.
During her time in corporate, Sherrika worked in several diverse industries within the private sector. Her years as an accountant provided much growth, as she moved through the ranks from Billing Specialist to Accountant, various roles in Accounting management, to her final position as Corporate Controller. She has managed teams of various sizes within the US, Canada, and Latin America.
Based on her experiences in corporate America, Sherrika started Transform the GAAP where she specializes in helping the accounting teams of small and medium-sized, private, and PE-backed companies increase their productivity by identifying errors and inefficiencies in their current processes. Additionally, she helps professionals within these teams overcome what is currently hindering them from growing to the next level in their careers. Sherrika's passion is to equip professionals with the skills necessary to thrive in any setting.
