Terry Pearce has been in Learning & Development since 2000. After five years progressing from delivering to managing training in the UK's National Health Service, he started freelancing as a consultant. Terry has worked with a huge range of organizations over the last fifteen years, across the world. During that time, he started to realize that what he was best at, and enjoyed most, was designing training. Since that realization, his last ten years of freelancing have been a process of ever-increasing specialization. First, focusing on training design, and more recently on designing learning experiences using games-based learning and gamification. Now that Terry is focusing on this, he feels like he has really found his passion. Terry has always played games and love working out how they tick, and he loved helping people 'get' ideas and develop their skills. Being a games-based learning designer and consultant brings the two together.
