Corporations have long had a reputation for being slow to adapt to change, even though their employees were often required to change and pivot on a dime. It wasn't until the last few years, though, that organizations as a whole were forced to be as nimble as their employees. That had their choice to chage or get swallowed and forgotten by the market.
