We've mentioned "free births" on the podcast before, but we had the chance to interview Laney who actually had a free birth and wanted to share her story!
Laney is a Homecare and Hospice Nurse, and she decided to do a free birth with her most recent (third) baby.
If you don't know, a free birth basically means an unassisted birth, or essentially deciding to give birth at home or somewhere else without the help of a healthcare professional such as a midwife. (Different than an accidental unassisted birth where the baby came before the midwife was able to make it, called "born before arrival")
