Before, Ganor also founded ShopServe.com, a provider of independent, authoritative online-shopping advice and content. Ganor successfully raised over $3 million (U.S.) in tier-1 venture capital and forged strategic partnerships with firms such as AT&T Business, AON Innovative Solutions, DoubleClick, Screaming Media and the Denver Post.
Prior he served as Vice President of Marketing at VocalTec Communications (Nasdaq: VOCL), a pioneer and leader in Internet Telephony. There, he built the product management department from the ground up, marketing a new generation of products including the first-ever worldwide PC-to-phone commercial network. Together, with leading industry players such as Cisco, Microsoft, Pulver and others, Ganor founded and Chaired the Marketing Committee of the VON coalition-- an industry initiative that actively advocated for the IP Telephony industry.
Ganor began his career with an eight-year stint at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) in Israel where, among other responsibilities, he consulted to Intel, Motorola and other high-profile technology firms. He holds a B.S. degree in mathematics and computer science from Ben-Gurion University, Israel and is an entrepreneurship mentor at Berkley Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at NYU Stern Business School of Business.
