Description

On this episode we get the chance to speak to Stirling Uni FC striker and Cammy Mckinley. Cammy, like many of our guests, played academy football as a teenager but was unfortunately released before U17 level. Despite this setback, Cammy didn't sulk and worked hard in the gym and on the pitch throughout his undergraduate degree, progressing from the 5th team to the 1st team in 4 years. As the top scorer, Cammy is an asset in a team that has played televised Scottish Cup matches against Dundee United and Albion Rovers. We used this episode as a chance to explore the mentality of a number 9 and get an understanding of what Cammy attributes his success to.

Some highlights from the episode include discussing the importance of confidence, how to navigate dips in form, using the 'small wins' to your advantage, playing at Tannadice and why routines / habits are so important. We hope that you enjoy the episode.
