Hi there, we are Wellbeing coaches who work for Care Visions as part of a programme focussed on helping Academy footballers develop a deeper understanding of themselves, how their choices impact their wellbeing and affect their ability to perform on the football pitch. We wanted to start producing weekly podcasts on the topics we are covering with our players. This is in order to not only allow our players to gain a deeper understanding of each topic but allow others to grasp an understanding of certain topics within performance sport and the importance of these.
This week we are focussed on Transitions both inside and outside of sport. As well as explaining what transitional periods are, we reflected on our thoughts surrounding the eye opening BBC documentary on "Premier League academies: The brutal release stories of Devonte Redmond and Owen Bailey".
