This week I have a great conversation with my friend Kirk. His wife, Tamar, was a guest a few episodes ago talking about race and racial identity. Today Kirk and I briefly discuss the history of policing, his experience as an officer, and some of the perceptions and perspectives that come together to create volatile situations.
