After working in the corporate world for over 15 years I decided that it was time to take the step to build the life I wanted for me and my son. And that life was going to be made on my terms. Enter anxiety mode - how do I make that happen!
I thought back on the 15 years I had spent working for various companies and thought of the struggles that came with each role. A consistent struggle I had was having to wear many hats all while trying to increase revenue, awareness and productivity for these companies. It was hard to focus on those KPIs and also try to chase invoices, updates clients, follow up suppliers etc.
I knew that if I had faced these struggles throughout my corporate career than I know that there were small businesses, entrepreneurs and sole operators that are facing these same struggles. I wanted to spend more time with my son and less time on trying to complete everything. My time in the corporate world required me to work crazy hours and made it hard to spend quality time together. Iknew something had to change but I wasn't sure if I was ready to take that leap.
Enter Covid 19! By March 2020 I was stood down from my Conference & Sales position at a local resort. After being a realist I knew that things weren't going to be the same again and I had to make some changes. I took a look at all the rolesand skills i had gained over the last 15 years and figured out what I loved doing. And I loved working with clients and bringing their goals to life.
