Being a creative is often taken as "Oh. It's just something I do." That shouldn't be your attitude toward the gift you have been given. Be grateful and thankful for the gift you have. Being egocentric is of course destructive but an honest appreciation for you abilities to create for the benefit of humanity is a high calling.
