Born in Guatemala City, Jorge has been an organizer in Nashville for the past few years. His organizing home is Workers’ Dignity, a workers’ center that is organizing within the construction industry for better working standards for construction workers. He has participated in several projects in Nashville including Nashville Nonprofit Workers United, Movements Including X, and others. Jorge is currently in law school and is hoping to be a movement lawyer dedicated to supporting immigrant workers.
