Homily for the Memorial of Saint John Chrysostom, Bishop and Doctor of the Church
For me, life means Christ, and death is gain.
Through Christ our Lord we assert his lordship over the world and over death. He has the power to raise the dead and bring them back to life. In the same manner, it is only our Lord who can save us from death. He raises us to live with him; in communion with him, our sorrows are turned into joy!
