"Break the chain,

We break through"

One of the Justices of the Supreme Federal Court of Brasil let a badass drug dealer who was arrested and convicted of crimes such as international drug trafficking, get away.

According to the Federal Police, this man was one of the heads of an extremely violent and dangerous criminal organisation and he was linked to the Italian mafia. Their “business” focus? Cocaine trafficking to Europe, more concretely from the Santos Port (in São Paulo State) to Italy. After a huge and expensive investigation, called Oversea Operation, that joined forces of the Brazilian Federal Police and Public Attorneys Office, since 2014, his convictions amounted to 25 years in prison but they are not final yet, given he could appeal to the Supreme Federal Court. He did, right? Nope.
