"Commencing countdown, engines on"
The President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, has issued an executive order giving green light to the private and public sector to begin exploiting resources in outer space. This order even mentions that “Americans should have the right to engage in commercial exploration, recovery, and use of resources in outer space, consistent with applicable law. Outer space is a legally and physically unique domain of human activity, and the United States does not view it as a global commons.”
They want to enlight the right to recover and the use of space resources, such as water and minerals.
