This was a most interesting interview with a most amazing human. He shared his heart with my audience and spoke his truth and talked about his book series, The Lifestyle of a Gay Hustler in a Straight world, based on his extraordinary life. Here are some details about him in his own words: “My pain produced my purpose, my heartaches made me who I am and my disappointments catapulted me to where I am supposed to be in life.” Steven Smith was born February 21, 1969, in West Palm Beach to a life that defined his purpose. He wasn’t raised in the best home but it was where he was supposed to be to know God’s purpose for his life. He didn’t know which way to go but he knew GOD would keep him on the right path. Life started to change after all the hell he went through he knew it was time for the world to know about how he made it through it all and thank GOD for showing him favor. In 1994 Steven assisted in his first fashion show at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. He has since gone on to conquer the Ballroom scene from top to bottom (1993-2011). He has styled countless clients Mia Milano TV Personality; Valentino Blake, Jacksonville Jaguars; Nic Harris, Free Agent Football player; Lemire Goldwire, Overseas Basketball Macedonia-north Europe and many other big names that have attended his shows(2000-2011).
