This guest has such a compelling story. He was such a delight to bring to the stage. He has a story of resilience such that I have never heard. Here is a little about him in his own words:
I’m known as the LUNG TRANSPLANT STONEMASON because I’m the only stonemason to do Stonemasonry after two double lung transplants. After many years of working in this trade I was diagnosed with silicosis fibrosis. In 2010 I fell I’ll and that is when my fight began, that’s when LIFE INTERRUPTED hit me harder than any hammer I’ve ever struck my chisel with and that is when I embraced my WARRIOR spirit and mindset. About a year later in 2011 I received my first transplant and everything was going well until I had a fall that caused a pulmonary embolism the size of a nickel about three and a half years into it. That returned me to my deathbed worse than ever before. I survived a blood clot in my lung that should have killed me within days for four months and 23 days and then I got the call to receive my second transplant. After a nine day coma and a month long stay in the hospital that included four other surgeries besides the transplant I was released. The recovery was lengthy and challenging to say the least. In 2020 in a very dark place, I decided to return to Stonemasonry to find my true self again and reclaim my power and strength. That is when THE LUNG TRANSPLANT STONEMASON was born. Now I’m speaking on stages across the country and using my story and message to inspire the world.
