Clare Brown embarked on a career in technology sales 20 years ago when it was very much a boys club and the movements and support for women and diversity were not even a whisper in the staff room. As she has climbed the ranks of companies such as Hewlett Packard, Dell and Experian, Clare has built support networks, created highly successful sales teams and leaned in to her natural empathy and emotional intelligence to excel. She also mentors students and help them to realise their potential in a highly demanding and competitive field.
In this episode of Culture Makers we talk about, among other things: When a merger is not a marriage made in heaven; the dangers of only looking inwards - and losing sight of the customer; taking the deliberate action needed to a create a team with shared vision and values, trust and purpose.
