I did not feel like making this show. I really didn't.  I mean, I wanted to, I just didn't think I had the time and I did not prioritize myself over other things in my life like work and personal responsibilities.  But, in the end, I was a friend to myself.  I acknowledged my feelings and thoughts and then made time for myself.  Recording this show it MY TIME.  It is the time I set aside each week to talk about my feelings and decompress after a hard week - and this week was HARD.  We should all make sure that we make time for ourselves and prioritize our feelings. I hope you can do that and if you can't, reach out, maybe someone can help.

Also, this is the last week of Mental Health Awareness Month and a good reference is the National Alliance on Mental Illness (nami.org).  You can get information on their You Are Not Alone campaign that helps others who may feel just like you.
