Description

We all care about what others think of us.  But when does this start to affect our mental health?  Don't get me wrong, knowing what others think of us is a good personal barometer of how we live our lives; however, it should not be the sole reason why we do the things we do or act a certain way.  In this episode, I suggest that you ask yourself 2 questions when thinking about the opinions that others have of you:

1. Why does this person's opinion of me matter so much,

and

2.  Does my opinion of myself matter more than theirs?

I believe, if we have honest conversations with ourselves and answer those questions, then we can finally start the journey we need to go on so we can learn to cope with our feelings and protect our own mental health.
