I met my next guest as he was planning his upcoming trip to NYC. He's currently completing a screenplay about a frog who comes to visit New York City for the first time. In preparation for his trip, he reached out to me through the magic of the internet for some logistics planning and we connected!
When he arrived in New York, I had a chance to show him around town for a few hours and that led to me asking "Hey, wanna be on my podcast?" (aside from asking him the German words for dozens of random things I could think of in the moment!)
Since talking with Sebastian on the days we hung out, he inspired me to finally start learning German. I've decided to make German my 2020 language challenge. I want to step outside my comfort zone of romance languages and try something totally new.
So, at least once a month I want to check in with a solo episode to talk about how it's going and maybe, if you're listening and you're a German speaker and want to join me, we can have a quick chat and you can help me pick up stuff I need to know.
