Have you ever wanted to learn a second language? or a third or fourth? Did you grow up speaking on language at home and another one out in the world? In each episode I'll be speaking with someone who speaks English and one or more other language. Some of my guests grew up in a bilingual home. Others have fulfilled dreams of learning a language even though they never spoke anything other than English at home. Some of my guests will have learned English as their second language and others... well, you'll have to listen and find out! We'll discuss tools, tips and tricks that have helped others to achieve their goals We'll talk about advantages and disadvantages we've all faced and of course, since we like to have fun around here, we're gonna keep the conversation light and dig deeper only when we need to.
We're all different and we all have stories that have led us to another language, whether its a draw to a different culture, or a true love, or work or study. I want to share these stories--and dashes of culture-- to inspire anyone wanting to take the plunge into the wonderful world of language learning!
