Public Meetings Report for the week of November 27, 2023
Residents disrupted Cleveland City Council’s Monday, November 20th meeting with chants demanding Council call for a ceasefire in Gaza. Public comment was once again dominated by remarks about the conflict overseas. Two commenters spoke about money to help prevent homelessness being tied up at the city level. A Council member spoke about her recent trip to the U.S.-Mexico border and how it has changed her perspective.
