I Samuel 1:1-11,16,22-23
SERMON NOTES:
- Driving you to action - too many christians just sitting around
- So many have been commanded to “attack” but we sit in our armor shaking
- The enemy is persistent and understands just how important the battle is
- Without God we are not match to the enemy
- We need to stay alert
- Who long have you been living in defeat?
- The longer you live for God the more detailed the enemies attacks are against you
- There is a mistake that Christians can make - that is inaction
- There should be a few things that get you fired up in life - there are things in life that is just not right!
- Things happening in the world today that makes God upset
- Yet when we choose not to act some of that passion you once had starts to leak out
- Time is no friend for righteousness
- When God calls us to righteousness, to judge sin and to be obedient - time is not on your side
- Righteousness must happen quickly or they might not even be made
- The Goliath that you refuse to judge will be the Goliath that stays with you!
