The only time you have with certainty is NOW

• God is a God of Right Now
• It is critical that we do not delay the things of God
• God has a plan for everyone - even the ones we think God can never reach

• We live in a generation that lacks self-control
• How many people in our generation lose jobs, get kicked out of school and burn bridges for not being able to have self-control

-Two things about Self-Control

1. It is about a battle - control or not control self
2. Self-control is the last listed in the fruits of the spirits - a spirit of God

• Self-Control can be used to measure your spirituality
• If you stayed on the path you are on right now, where will it take you?
• Good preaching should cause us to have convictions
