‘ Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. ‘
Luke 17:3-4
NOTES:
- What do we do when we are disappointed in those who have failed or fallen short, even ourselves
- We need to judge ourselves before we judge others.
- We need to first remember that brothers/sisters are going to sin against us.
- When they sin against you, don’t slander them, don’t manipulate them, go directly to them and rebuke them, with a right attitude and not led by emotions.
- “If…then Forgiveness” - Conditional Forgiveness
- Forgiveness must be available to ALL who have sinned against us.
