Food is a central point in Jewish life – with Shabbat every week, Yom Tov every few months, and simchas, and every day eating. There’s a lot of food. I so enjoyed this conversation with Lily Aronin, a Holistic Integrative Nutritionist, a Certified Weight Loss Specialist, and a Healthy chef. Lily is a guiding voice in cultivating healthy eating habits. And she believes that to truly establish these habits, we must address the mind, the environment, and the spiritual aspects of eating.
We spoke about food and its role in our lives – for nourishment, for celebration, for connection for an experience. Lily shared practical tips and mindshifts that can empower us to strengthen healthy habits not just for ourselves, but for our families and guests as well.
And she’s starting a new program soon. Listen to the end to hear more about it.
