Augusta native Marvin Stone is no stranger to sports and training in the CSRA. Marvin Stone, a veteran indoor football league player, graduated from T.W Josey High School located in Augusta GA in 2000. During this time, he earned All State and All American honors in high school in addition to winning Georgia player of the year his senior year. Mr Stone attended South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, South Carolina before returning to Augusta.
Mr. Stone began his indoor football career with the Augusta Spartans in the American Indoor Football League where he earned 1st team all league honors. As a member of the Spartans, Mr. Stone was named Offensive Player Of The Year, Leagues Most Valuable Player, and 1st Team all league while leading the Spartans to The World Indoor Football League Championship. He also earned the games Most Valuable Player and lead the league in every statical category for wide receivers. He went on to continue his career with the Augusta Colts and several other indoor league teams competing at the highest level.
Next Level Athlete Training is proud to announce that we will be having our 2nd Annual Spring Break Camp Monday, April 3rd thru Thursday, April 6th at the Bernie Ward Community Center. This Camp will host OL/DL from 10am-2pm and Skill Positions from 2pm-6pm. The camp is for youth ages 11-18 years of age and will focus on keeping our kids engaged during their time off from school as well as focusing on good sportsmanship, character, and teamwork, and the importance of scholarship and academic achievement. We have partnered with G.R.A.Y.S Group LLC and will feed all the athletes and educate them on Teen Pregnancy Prevention, Alcohol/Drugs, STDs, and HIV/Aids. Our trainers/coaches include Derrick Reeves, Marvin Stone, Voncellies Allen, and Curtis Dorsey. You definitely want to pre-register as slots will fill up fast. We also will have some special invited guests and we will honor Bubba Diggs for his work with the youth and professional sports in Augusta.
