Learning how to monetize any skill requires many things, especially learning how to eliminate the employee mindset and grow an entrepreneur mindset. In our challenging world, people are fed up with it and want to take control of their lives and their financial situation and an online business is smart, after all, it is the digital age.
We talk about all things entrepreneurship on this podcast but I haven't really talked about starting from scratch with a skill and actually making money with it.
When you realize that each time you go to your 9-5 job that you're helping to make someone else rich, it might just get your goat. You might be thinking that you'd like to not be told what to do and create a lifestyle of freedom. Well, it's very possible but you'll have to learn how to take what you know and create a product that people actually want.
How would that feel to know what the steps are and how to put them all together? I remember when I was first starting out in my online business in 1995, I stumbled through the whole process on my own and had some successes and some failures.
