Ep. 17, Season 2: I deeply struggle to rest. This episode is an honest, vulnerable conversation about my struggle to feel worthy of slowing down, and how I used to (/still sometimes) see rest as unproductive and limiting. The narrative I told myself was "Why would I ever have time to rest?" I thought that it would slow me down from getting to where I want to go and achieving what I want to achieve. But in a world that is as loud and pressure filled as ours, rest is where you discover the peace within yourself. Rest is where you incubate, play, and rejoice in what fills your soul. Rest is essential, towards both achievement and wellbeing. I'm realizing this now, and want to share how I'm making changes in my life to prioritize my peace but still achieve my goals. Hope you can relate :)
