Hebrews 10:24-25 (KJV)
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
People often talk of peer pressure from friends and colleagues in a negative way, but today's scripture encourages us to influence and encourage each other to express our love and positively impact wherever we are. The Bible says, "Iron sharpeneth iron; So a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend" (Proverbs 27:17).
That's why it's so important to be part of a Cell Group, wherein a small group of like-minded people, you get to chew on the Word and you put it to work within that setting. For example, you touch on scriptures for healing, then go out praying for the sick and come back to share your results. The passage goes on to tell us to encourage each other not to miss church! So, who are you calling to encourage not to forsake coming to the church service? Be your brother's keeper today; check on your brother and sister today.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am my brother's keeper. I encourage my brothers and sisters to attain greater heights and depths in Christ, even as they encourage me, in the Name of Jesus! Amen.
