Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Many Christians think this change is one that will take place in Heaven or in the spirit realm somewhere; it has already happened! The Lord Jesus Christ came to give us the divine life, the life that makes us sons of God. You see, being born again doesn’t mean you have two lives or natures; you only have one, and that’s the God-kind of life, the divine life.
Now, look at the phrase "new creature"; it suggests something that’s not known; it’s new or even "strange." You and I are a new species, a creature that never existed before, a new type of man! When you come to this realisation and understanding that what you have isn't a mix of the divine and human natures, you will cease from the struggles to live right, and you’ll find yourself fulfilling God’s will for your life gloriously from a position of rest. From today, walk in a Christ mindset; walk in this newness. New life in you, new life in your company or business, your children or anything that affects you.
